My tomatoes have the yellow leaves about 2 ft. down and some of my plants have the curled leaves, but since the plants are 9 ft tall (big boys and better boys) and full of tomatoes, i hav'nt worried to much. but after seeing pepereaters plants, i'm getting afraid. My main novice question is? is it best to let the tomatoes of the better boys and better boys turn red on the vines. mine are the size of baseballs and green as ever. i'm so excited its hard for me to keep from picking them.

Overwintering is bringing it indoors to keep it alive. I do the same with my peppers. Gives them a great head start for the next season.

You can pull them off when they're half-way ripe and let them fully ripen in the kitchen.
