Dodge, that's beautiful! I'm in zone 5 too, and my Kopper King Hibiscus bloomed about 8 weeks ago and my Lady Baltimore bloomed about 6 weeks ago and my white one bloomed about that same time, then my red one bloomed about a week after that, but they are all finished blooming now. Sorry, I don't know the names of the red and white one.

Hi Dodge! Ask and you shall receive, my friend! These pictures were taken earlier this year. They are pretty but the beetles are killing them. Dodge, I usually have a terrible problem with the Japaneese Beetles, but this year they weren't very bad at all. I don't know why! I was considering moving them into a lesser spot. ha ha DO they transplant well?? I don't know because I've never moved mine. I've been wanting to find out if and how I can divide my Kopper King because it is really getting too big for the bed. I know I can't dig the whole thing out and transplant it because it is just too large. It is such an awesome plant!

Dodge, it really depends on waht variety you have this white one, my red one and my Kopper King have blooms the size of dinner plates, but my Lady Baltimore has more trumpet shaped flowers and they don't get nearly as large. Patches, it looks like you have one of the same ones I do. It's called Blue River 2 Thanks, Alan! I appreciate the information and you may be right, but when bought this 4 years ago it thought it had a woman's name as part of it, but I may be wrong! I don't know!
