How well do Sempervivum's do as indoor plants? I plan on placing mine right by a sunny window...

Also, does anyone here have any detailed information on offset propagation of this plant?

I have 2 sempervivums as indoor plants. I have planted mine in a shallow tray. They are doing very well on a very sunny windowsill.

Not a good idea to try to keep these as houseplants. They are alpine plants which means they need the cold to survive. Even with good light they may survive but will bloom before they produce chicks. When Semps bloom they die.

Keeping a Sempervivum in the house with out the cold is like putting a tropical plant outside in a snow storm. You are asking for a early death.
