I bought a beautiful new 6 foot ficus today.
Does anyone have an indoor ficus and a cat?
The websites I've checked all say that ficus is toxic. kit

You'll love your new Ficus, Deborah, and hopefully, your cat won't bother it. When I had one, my cats only used the pot for their litter pan substitute so I got rid of the Ficus. I tried everything under the sun to keep them out of it but they couldn't resist the potting soil, I guess. frown

Problem- pepper is fascinated. Sniffing, exploring, even looking like she might nibble.
All of the sites I went to have ficus on the toxic list.
I called the nursery and they'll refund it for me.
I know I'd never have a minutes' peace with that tree indoors.
Thanks for responding ! kit
