OP Bill Swiderski Member B Joined: Jun 2006 Chattanooga, Tn.	Will all variety of cherry trees grow anywhere cherry trees are found? Specifically Wisconsin. Can I grow Rainer cherry's there? Or are there certain varieties that are specific to that region? Bill Swiderski

Lakshmi Junior Member L Joined: Sep 2006 Montreal, Quebec, Canada	You need to look up the tree by your USDA zone. Wisconsin encompasses zones 3a-5b so it depends where you live in Wisconsin. Rainer is hardy in zones 4-8 and you will need atleast one other cherry tree to cross-pollinate as it is not self-fertile. Your best bet would be to go to your local nursery as they will sell trees that are hardy in your zone and be able to provide pollination information as well.
