OP driftwood Junior Member D Joined: May 2005 china	Hi, I've just moved from the incredibly dry climes of Beijing to the super humid ones of Hong Kong.Does anyone know of any house plants which act as natural dehumidifiers? Are there such plants? Any ideas?

tkhooper Official Blabber Mouth T Joined: Mar 2005 triangle, virginia	I know that there are some plants that can take moisture right out of the air like cactus but I don't believe they would survive in a high humidity climate like you are discussing. The only dehumidifiers I know of are mechanical/electrical in nature. But I am a beginner and there is a ton of information out there that I don't know anything about.

peppereater Member Joined: Apr 2005 norman, ok	I don't know of anything that could process the volume of humidity you have. You might have to go with some mechanical solution. Maybe someone will come along who knows...check back, by all means.
