Bleeding hearts, lupines and certain varieties of columbine. I also have a weigela, I am defying the odds with it. It is growing and blooming (not as well as if it got more sun)but growing none the less. You could also try hydrangeas.

Lungworts *Pulmanaria*,
Elephant Ears and Caladiums could be fun,
*(those you'd have to pull up every fall time)*
Coleus,
Impatiens....

I have a shady side to a fence I have between
my mom's and me and I am doing all Coleus this year..
I want to see if the differnt varieties show up better than tryin' to do some flowers ~ that struggle..

If it works, some day I may invest in a bunch of different Caladiums....

Columbines and Lupines are very easy, and self sow, so there is not much to them once planted..
