Could any body tell me how long it will normally take for an Avocado plant to fruit provided it's grown from a stone? -- it's a Hass. Thanks!

normally it takes 10 to 15 years for a seedling to bear fruit.some times you get lucky and get fruit much sooner.i had one fruit on it's fourth year.
if you graft it, you should have fruit within 2 yrs.

Danno,
grafting is taking a healthy limb from a tree that has borne fruit and attaching it to a seedling. the following site has a pictorial site that is very easy to follow.
joe real's albums
when you open it,go to cleft grafting.
good luck
