Will someone explain the differences between neem oil, volck oil, dormant oil spray and non-dormant oil spray. Is vegetable oil similar to these oils?

Neem oil is extracted from a neem tree seed. It's an organically accepted oil used as an insect spray.
Dormant oil refers using an oil to control pests or fungi while the plant is in a non growth or dormant period. They are heavier grade oils which could smother the plant if it had leaves on it. Non dormant oils are used while plants are in active growth. Like whiteoil.
Volk oil is also known as dormant oil. It's a traditional heavy grade oil used as a preventive in non growth periods.
Somethin' like that anyway!

well depending on how the oil is processed will determine if it is organic or not. To be organic it needs to be OMRI certified or by another approved certifying agency, (OMRI is the big one). so not all neem oil is organic.
