Hi Deborah & Loz
I posted recently about my flowering maple
I had purchased from
greenhouse, we had a few days of weird weather
nonetheless, I posted in panic, as my leaves faded and looked wilted
After I posted and thought about it, I assumed it was sunscald/sunburn,or shock from
greenhouse to my area.
weezie was so kind as to reply-
Yep, that's kinda what I was thinkin'..
If it's used to the
greenhouse, it hasn't
gotten it's wind roots, it's sense of the straight down sun,
And over night temps without protection...
Love the knowledge here(Thanx Weezie)the flowering maple, comes in many varieties. Different shapes and sizes, Megapotamicum-Vine shrub from Brazil resembling tiny lanterns as loz has. Clementine or crimson belle sounds like what you have Deborah.
I love the flowering maple and starting checking into different varaites.a note easily propagated from cuttings taken from current seasons growth.
