Does anyone use green moss in their planters? What plants benefit from it? Which do not? Any advice on caring for it?

I have used green moss in my monstera planter. It helps conserve the moisture in the soil as the plant is quite big and in a terracotta plant so dries up quickly. It also looks good as the monstera is staked up a moss pole.

Do you think that I could use it in my pothos and ficus?

I think it should be ok-atleast with pothos. I have lots of sedum growing in my ficus pot which is doing really well.

Thanks I'll try it with my pothos first and maybe some of my cuttings before my big ficus tree. It's in a terracotta pot, so I thought it might help it with moisture, as you said about your monstera planter. I see you are in the UK. I'm originally from Paisley, near Glasgow. Moved to NY when I married my hubby.
