I have never grown 'National Pickling Cucumbers' before. I want to plant them against a trellis system and was wondering if anyone knew how tall and wide they get(the plant that is)?

Does anyone else trellis their cucumbers?

I plant mine on a six foot trellis. I've never grown that variety though.

hey i baught some 4' tall tomatoe pyramids. they are in the shape of a triangle. . similar to the same function as a cage yet it has the 3 sides (not circular obviously) These three sides will come apart easily, and fold down to being 4'x1' for storage. When expanded this works great! You now have a 52"x4'tall trellis made of painted metal! I make a W shape out of it for added support instead of being one straight line. I PLAN on putting 4 plants on 1 trellis. . . this maybe overload i'll see and let you know smile

BTW these can be baught at Home Depot. Tomato Pyramid is what it was called in the outdoor garden center. (right same place as tomato cages!)
