Anyone have any advice? And do I put the cutting in water or soil to root?
Thanks

you can prune them how ever you want. but only the "soft" (green) cutttings will root. this could be done either way. i did mine in water, but loz did her's in soil.

Okay, I did one of each. Hopefully both will do well!

The water cutting did not make it- the leaves are all brown and wilting off. The soil cutting still looks healthy. I hope it makes it. Should I give it something to boost it along? I gave it some root hormone when I took the cutting. Thanks.

nope, you have the right plan! just pretend it is already rooted and go from there!

I pruned mine back quite a bit and stuck the cuttings back in the same pot...so far so good, it's been almost a month and the only one I lost was the smallest one. I have new growth on some and the rest are still healthy. Good luck! grinnnn flw
