i grow cut flowers and added ranunculus to my ever changing list this season. sadly, it sprouted leaves and then they kind of turned yellow, withered and is now dying back. what's up??? i'm thinking maybe the huge amount of rain we've had here in maine has something to do with it???? i've had problems with botrytis with my lilies and i know locals have had issues with botrytis and their peonies. anybody have any ideas or experience with this?
thanks for any thoughts....mara

I tried them and I know exactly what you mean. I finally sent the rest of my bulbs to JV in Texas. They want water until they sprout and then they want it dry. And even down here in Virginia I couldn't do it for them. They are very picky. And if your a florist growing your own flowers I think they are to picky to be really useful for you.
