YUM ! Yay !
For lunch today, made my Sloppy Joes special by adding some sauteed bell pepper picked from my container garden right before I made the sauce.
My first-ever bell pepper !!!!! What fun ! grinnnn flw

wow!! its really cool that you got peppers, espically this early in the year( well, at least its early for me, i live in southern Ny) congrats and hope they are really yummy!!!!!

I don't know what they were, it was a single plant in the garden center with no tag.
But it probably is a California Wonder, because our nurseries tend to sell the more common varieties.
I'm having the leftovers tonight ! grinnnn

That's great Deborah! I picked a couple jalapenos today but like Dodge, my green peppers are only the size of marbles. Can't wait though! Good luck with the rest of the crop!

I cheated though-bought a plant that was already crowding its nursery pot.
And...... it already had two little teeny peppers on it. I confess...
But what a hoot anyway to get one to grow large and actually get to cook it and eat it.
My first ever !
I have yellow pear tomatoes now, too, tiny ones, awfully cute.
