OP Mechele Member Joined: Apr 2006 Virginia	I have figured out that the reason my lawn turned brown, I have Crane Flies, what can I do to get rid of them ?

Longy Member Joined: Sep 2004 East Coast	Well you need to care for your lawn. Fertilise, water, mow on a high setting etc. Get it growing strong and healthy.

Wrennie Member Joined: Apr 2006 Phoenicia, NY	I didn't know craneflys could hurt a lawn. heres one good article: http://naturallyhamilton.ca/files/european_crane.pdf Other articles said to use a grub control to get rid of them. Did the last people have dogs? Sometimes old dog pee (etc) patches burn the lawn and look like grub damage.
