Does anyone here know what the name of this plant is?
This picture is of rooted cuttings taken from the mother I also have.
When the stems grow to about 8"-9" tall, they will start to flop over the rim, much like a wandering jew. I seem to remember the name started with an E, but I'm not positve

Hi Susan!

That looks a lot like a pepperomia to me. I have a similar looking plant, but it's all green. The leaves and stems look the same though.

Have I asked you where upstate you are? I'm down in Rockland County, on the border of Bergen County in NJ.

Just guessing ........The leaves look like in the Philodenden family......However it is spelled.
But I like it .

Lynne, that's it! I did some searching of peperomias and it's a "Peperomia scandens" Mystery solved! Thanks!
I live about two hours south of Syracuse, an hour east of Corning NY and VERY COLD as you well know!

The mature leaves on this plant are 1 to 1 1/2"

The variegated pattern of these leaves would sure make a nice large leafed philodendron though...
