Longy Member Joined: Sep 2004 East Coast	They are suffering from a potassium deficiency. They get fat and then suddenly taper to a narrow blossom end. See if you can find a high potash (K)liquid fertilizer. Or side dress with some sulphate of potash and water in.

LandOfOz Member Joined: May 2006 Ks, USA	I have a particular variety that is doing that in my garden--the other varieties planted in very well near the same place are doing just fine. I just assumed it was a product of the variety!
