How do you people shred the newspaper?
Just rip it up with your hands?

I've tried using a lawn mower, but found that creates too much of a mess.

Do you have a paper shredder???????

I don't personally put news paper in mine,
*I recycle it* and I have unlimited Browns',
so I don't need it.. *but some do require it,
because they don't have the browns available to them...

The paper shredder works pretty good from
what I've heard.. and it creates many "sides" to
the paper which speeds up decomposition, when more sides are available to be broken down.

but if you don't have a shredder, ripping is fine..
