I have many beautiful clematus plants around my home. I would like to know how to start new plants from my existing plants. Can anyone help me??

i have sarted some seeds in doors and it said to put seeds in the seed mixture and put in ref.well do i cover the pot with a ziploc bag.are just leave the bag off.

I read on another forum lala that you can root cuttings in water, although it can take several months. I started 2 cuttings in May but haven't gotten any roots yet. If you google 'clematis bubbler' you will find a discussion about using an aquarium bubbler to speed up the rooting process. I tried the bubbler for a few days but couldn't take the confounded noise! I'll post back if my cuttings ever root. Good luck!
