Hi,

My tomatoes (leaves) are turning yellow and wilting. I think they are dying. Any advice on how to save them? We've lost one entire plant already...?

LIbbyBuck, we feel your pain! Could you send us a pic of your poor tomatoes? What sort of watering conditions are they in? Is there anything on the leaves? What sort of soil and fertiliziing? Any spots/lesions on the leaves or stem? Lots of questions for you! Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this and save some of those guys for you!

Where do you live? Some places have a short spring tomato season because of high summer temps. You may need to start planning for a fall crop. Check your county ag extension for growing season details.

I, too have just experienced the same problem with the yellow leaves. I live in northern N.C., and plant my tomatoes in Earthboxes. They are in clean soil and drain easily.
Literally overnight, about 30-40 percent of the non-flower bearing leave stems have turned completely yellow, just as if it were the end of August.... We have only had a couple days of heat, and nothing extreme (88 or so). Not something I have ever witnessed before (so much of the plant turning so quickly and so early)

that can be similar to each other..
A nice picture can quicken the results
and how to help you 'Maters to health..

Also, can you all give us a quick run down of your soil/dirt conditions..
*regular garden soils or bagged, if bagged what kind*

How you water, nights/mornings, hose or drip hose or watering can..

Fertilizers, what kind, the numbers on it,
liquid or organic..

And the sun of the place your gardens are located, like full sun, partial, shade..

You also have my sympathy!....why do they say tomatos are so easy to grow when they are not and are so vulnerable to so many perplexing diseases...I sure hope you can find your problem...thats so dissapointing!....
I'm having my own tomato problems right now too....geeze
