Hi...
I was thinking about making a pot of bearded iris and small daylilies... Duh
Has anyone tried this or would it be better to plant these in the ground?
It would be nice to have a pot that i don't have to plant every spring. angell

Greg I have daylily stella, and a old iris that seems to grow anywhere. I did this by accident I seperated some plants and did not have time to plant them in the garden and put them in the pot as a temporary home.

They have been through two winters and still alive.

Greg,

Yes they do grow well in pots. Once the flowers/plants start to get small, then you would want to separate them to give them more room. I have seen quite a few different kinds of bulb combinations in pots that are just amazing!
