I have a few different hot pepper plants..

I was wondering if I pick some a little before they are ripen...Will the plants yield more??

That is a rule of thumb with plants that
produce a product or a vessel to carry their seed..
*to propitulate he breed*

If you pick it, they think, "HEYYYYYYYY,
where did my seeds go" and hurry up and produce more flowers to produce more product...

I am under the impression that frequent picking will make higher yields. I pick my anahiems when they are almost full grown and still green. I just picked a bunch that were a little smaller than I would have liked but did so just to help increase production. My poor plants are just starting to produce again, after their terrible run-in with me and my over-fertilizing!!

Thanks for the Very Helpful info!! I just want to make sure I did not do this if only a certain amount would yield from these plants!! thumbup
