Hi all,

I had a great plan whereby my onions and French beans would have been out of ground ready for my to start sowing my spring cabbages.

Trouble is, our spring was so rubbish, that everything started late, so my onions still need longer (as quite small) and beans are still going strong.

As I'm just using pockets in my borders to grow my veg's, I'm out of any more space that I can use as a seed bed, so could I start the cabbages off in pots (big ones) and transplant them when the ground is clear?
