I have one,
(*again there's no real amounts, just add as you like or dislike*)

#1. Store bought weinner's
(I buy store brand (TOPS MARKET'S) for this recipe)

*For a larger group, I'd buy 4 pkgs.
(for smaller group/ 2 pkgs.)

#2. Cut up in bits of 4 pieces each hot dog!
#3. 1/2 cup of Kraft Hickory Smoked BBQ Sauce
#4. 1/2 cup of Kraft HOT BBQ Sauce
#5. 1/2 cup of Hientz Ketch~up

#6. Shake fine ground black pepper,
#7. 10~20 shakes of Frank's Red Hot sauce
(all depends on your tasteness for HOT foods,
like it less start out with 5 shakes)

Stir around, throw in dogs, let cook, simmer,
serve with toothpick's!!! Cut up dog's pc's if
you like smaller bits too??
All in your choice..

Happy Munching!! muggs

I love spicy food....I'm not much for hot dogs but that would definitely drown out the taste of the dogs!!! Duh The hot doesn't affect me but the dogs do!!!!

I always buy the store brand for the dogs for that recipe... the dogs have a different taste
than the Shalen's or Oscar Meye's... I guess the
Shalen's are a local one, I have heard several friends of mine that leave, wish they had them acrossed the states....
But some butter in it to creamy them up a bit..

Not sure on the dogs upsetting your tummy, ???

I grow peppermint and spearmint, and I love that in the summer time, miss it in the winter.... try growing some of that, you'd be lucky enough to harvest year round. Just keep in in pots, they get a bit out of control... supposed to be good for the brain... (DONT" go there karen!!!!) laugh wink

Okay,
I'm givin'away my trade secret's today,
Well, not allllllllllll of them,

BUT WHO LIKES FRENCH FRIES???
(or I should say freedom fries)

5 potatoes (for my family of 4~2 adults/2 kids)

Anyways, cook 'em up in the deep frier!!!
6 minutes for fresh cooked..
(or use frozen if you don't know how to make fresh, check package for cooking times.)

Ingredients are as you like or if you like hot stuff???

FRENCH FRIES... / ... AND DIPS

Cajun spices.../...Bluecheese dressing
Lemon pepper.../...Ranch dressing
Taco seasonings.../...Ranch dressing

When cooked, pull out of frier, shake once or twice to get most of the grease off, but you have to have a bit of moisture for the spices to stick.

Immediately throw them into a mixing bowl, we
used a metal mixing bowl, sprinkle the seasonings on top of the fries and a gave 'em the ole one two flip, put in basket or plate........

Serve with dip.....

Ooooo, I have to say...for meatballs I have the best tasting way and easiest to make them....

Buy a bag of frozen meatballs(I get mine from walmart, about 62 of them for 6 bucks.)

In a crock pot mix up equal parts of grape jelly and ketchup....yep, you may have heard of this but I thought it sounded disgusting....my sister told me to try it and it is amazingly good....everyone at her last party kept telling me they loved them.....little did they know they were frozen...LOL, I just said thanks.....Try to get all the lumps out of the mixture in the crock pot....I used my mixer.....keep on a medium heat.....oh and by the way, do all that while the meatballs are cooking in the oven....when they are done, just throw them in the crock pot with the ketchup/jelly mixture for about an hour....you can unplug it after that long and keep the lid on and trust me they'll stay really hot.

Quick, and easy....I think I may make some more of them for the big game tom. night!!! Oh and on a side note, I hate grape jelly, but I loved these meatballs.....you really couldn't even taste the jelly in it......

Jillie,
You probably could substitute any meat that
tastes reasonably good with bbq sauce..

Chunks of pre~cooked chicken,
Parts of pork sausage maybe (I don't eat the stuff)
You could even plop some pre~cooked chicken
wings in too!!!
