Oriental Beef and Broccoli

6 carrots, cut into chunks
2 onions cut into wedges
1 1/2 lb beef round steak cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
2 cloves of garlic, minced (I used garlic powder)
1/2 c water
2 Tbsp soy sauce
envelope of beef gravy mix
4 c broccoli florets
3 c hot cooked rice

In your crock pot, place carrots, onions, beef strips, ginger and
garlic. Stir together water, soy sauce, and beef gravy mix. Pour over meat
and vegetables in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hrs or high
for 4-5 hrs. If using low heat, turn to high and stir in broccoli.
Cover and cook another 15 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender.
Serve over hot cooked rice.

Serves 6
