hi all,

can i take my rose trees inside in the garage,heated and lights,for winter cuz keith wants to redo the soil for a pond next spring and i ve got to remove all my perennials .

Hi from South Africa

roses are dormant in winter and its also the time to prune and its the best time to move roses. I don't see why you need to bring them inside?

Hi Bids and welcome to the forum,

thank you for answering me,i need to move it because keith my husband want to prepare the soil,entire soil of garden,to place and dig for a pond,so i need to remove my perenials in order to do that and oi want to put them in the garage.

Hi Francine,

Cant you just pot them up outside, otherwise they wont have their dormant period which is our best time time to get them back into shape and start fresh, disease and pest free.
