Do you knead your own bread or use a machine????

I use my hands no machines

4c wholewheat flour
2c muligrain flour
2 heaping tbsp Ground Flax seeds
3 tsp salt
Mix together

3 tsp sugar
3 tsp yeast
31/2c warm water
Mix together let stand 15 mins.

Mix all together. Knead well Mould to shape and place in baking tin, leave to rise. Bake at 385 for 30mins Been baking this recipe for a long time, just started putting in the flax seeds they make it even better and they are goooood for you.
I make 3 11/2lb loafs. The first is gone within the first hour with the butter melting on it

Limey,
Have you ever done any of the breads,
where you put stuff in it??
cheese, olives, raisins?

I can't make breads or doughs,
never blessed with the clue
how to make it,
I think I over knead it or it's
not cold enough or something!!

but those breads with cinnamin and glaze
are my most favorites!!

Thanks for sharing!!

Okay Dave,
What's the recipe for the
Christmas cake and pudding????????? wavey
I've heard of Christmas cookies, but
not cake??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm??????

And back to the bread,
I made a bread one time when I was
a teenager, and you made the bread
regular way, but when you put it in the
pan you sliced it up and layered it,
like in sliced bread, you oiled it
in between the layers!!! And after it
was baked, it was already sliced!!
It was so cool..... thumbup
but it came out a bit flat!!
(I think I rolled it too thin)
But it was so much fun to make,
even though it didnt' turn out tooooo good!

Dave, are you english??? Duh I know you are from canada--but I know you go by limey.....I am so jealous...My english family always has christmas pudding with christmas dinner....it's so rich you can only have a tiny piece, and it's so good with byrds eye custard on it....my mouth is drooling now.....

Weezie, I am like you can't bake bread to save my life....my mom makes it though so I'll pass the recipe on to her....nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread wafting through your house.
