Gorgeous!
My two are maybe 10" tall, so it'll be a while until I see results like that!

I love BOP's & this plant looks in really good health. Do you get bothered by scale or red spider mite?

I currently grow my Strelitzia regina as a houseplant (it goes on the patio during summer) but am being slowly tempted to plant it outdoors. Perhaps next year... In the mean time, I'm keeping going to keep it in an unheated greenhouse to see how it fares this winter.

Currently I also have a White Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Augusta/Alba). I've recently bought it indoors to protect it from the autumn wind that assails the Cornish coast at this time of year. It hasn't flowered yet (probably got another 2-3 years to go) but is already about 6.5 feet tall. It's just pushed out a new leaf which is about 2x the size of its last one & the stem is growing at the rate of 1inch per day. I can't help feeling that this might be the leaf that is going to hit the ceilng - what'll I do then??!

That is a very pretty BoP. We have alot of those around here as landscaping around businesses and they just dont look that nice at all. In fact I really didn't know how pretty BoP was till I saw these pics.
