This project I've been working on for four or five years and still isn't near completion. It's a dry riverbed except in spring when it is the runoff for my steep driveway, or if we run the hose down it, which is a lot of fun. The part I've got now is about 60 yards long , but I plan on putting a pond at the bottom of it that will overflow when full and extending the riverbed another 20 yds down to the culvert which goes under the road here.

Almost the entire property (actually, almost the entire town I live in) is all ledge, all the dirt I have has been trucked in.............All the rocks were here, and the little rocks that will line the inside are our finds from beaches and trips. I bring home rocks from everywhere!

We do that here too..
We take creek trips,
and go wade in the water on
the scorcher days, and come
back with a load..

We were at a shopping mall the other
day, and my oldest wanted to look at
a bunch of rocks, and my hubby was getting
mad cause me and him and the youngest were
putting 'em in our pockets..

I should dig up my father's rock
garden pictures.. he did 3 of them..
