OP Karrie Member Joined: Jun 2005 Dyersburg, Tennessee	I am in zone 5 I need to know how late in the season it is ok to plant my delph and Hollyhock? I have been working on a few areas but they are still not ready yet. I think they will be ready in about another 2 to 3 weeks. Will it be too late in the season then?

alankhart Member A Joined: Aug 2002 Knoxville, TN	You'll need to give them at least six weeks in the ground to establish a root system before frost hits. So, if you know when your average first frost is, just count back six weeks and that's the latest you should plant.
