Bill,
Over the yr. my parents and granny had "Hen's and Chickens" and never remembered ever that they bloomed....
When I started gardening,
....in the begining, as a new gardener....
And I saw this, I thought I had a new species or something on my hand,
couldn't figure out what it was doing?
Well, I found out it was flowering....
But I remember that time, and I look back
at it now and think how silly!!

But time in the garden is the greatest teacher of all....Also equally as important is paying attention to the teacher, is a very close second. Sometimes she slips things in through, just to see if we're looking!!!

Wow! I've never seen them bloom, either. Have had them for years. That's a real eye-opener.
