OP suzannie Member S Joined: Sep 2003 ft. walton beach, florida	I planted a cutting of Confederate rose Hibiscus in the ground almost three years ago. It has grown beautifully getting 3 ft. tall and almost as wide , but still no flowers. Anyone know why?

SnazzieT Member Joined: Jun 2004 boiling springs, sc	I don't know. I have grown some hibiscus from seed and was told it would take a year for them to bloom (they are 12-18" tall now. I would sugest maybe getting some bloom fertilizer and see if you can't help it along. But as to why... I don't know.

njoynit Member Joined: Jul 2003 SE TX`in the yard somewhere mo...	I'm a year behind you... but they have a saying about hydrangea cuttings grown. 1st they sit 2nd they creep 3rd BAM they grow! My gardenia cuttings did the same.in its 2nd yr and getting some shape to them now. My 1 CR cutting is still small only about 9 inches,but am going to move it to a 3 gallon pot this fall . Good Luck
