zone 8b full sun.

I notice that your other plantings were all one species per location. Is that what you want to do here?

Feather Amaranth - I love this one. It doesn't continue to grow after it's been transplanted though. Or at least it doesn't in the northern reaches of it's zones. It comes in yellows, oranges and scarlets.

Cosmos - The Webmaster has some pictures of Chocolate Cosmos in the "plant Profiles" that I just droole over.

Portulaca - These are really low to the ground and they self seed. They love sun and are really pretty. My packet called them Moss roses and they do have a bloom that reminds me of cabbage roses in minature. They come in all kinds of colors.

Zinnia - are gorgeous and make great flowers for cutting. They come in a lot of colors too. And they are really tall.

Hey wavey Deb,

Got a question or two for you???

Are you looking to keep it as an annual bed?
And change annuals from year to year?

Are you looking to put perennials?

Half and half??

Bushes???

Do you need high maintainence or low maintainence.
Are you home alot to play and putter/or don't want to fuss with it?

And what are you planning on doing to it to make it into a working bed???
I noticed you've got it laid out but not in yet?
Will you dig grass out and then rototill under it
to make it deeper or just lay landscape fabric over it and add dirt????

Lot's and Lot's of questions there????
Guess I got carried away shocked wink

Weezie
