Hi-

I have an older Ming Aralia that has lost all it's foliage!! It has one main "trunk" with 4 large "offshoots". All the "tips" are green. Is it possible to save this plant? Can I cut off the top 1/3's and use a rooting hormone to "spread" this Ming out? Please help...It was a special gift.

Thanks Kindly,
-Michael

Hi Michael,
I just bought a Ming Aralia, and it is not looking too hot either. I have no idea how to care or propagate the things.

Michael,

Ming aralais are my favorite plant and I care for many of them. I am having trouble understanding just what the problem with yours is. Can you e-mal a photo to me or post a link to a photo so I can see it?

Also, can you describe how long you have had it, if you repotted it, how much light it gets, and your waterihg routine? All of that is important to diagnosing the problem.
