I'd like to know how FAR back to cut my hysopp?and....my seed packet said it would bloom in july& it bloomed 7 months ago,but its tall.I had to tie up after rain a few weeks ago.it gets LOADS of bees.AND I found it makes good drink!

Vodka 1 lite
brown sugar 1 cup
1/4 c heavy cream

Ok I bought 4 bottles when I went.its absolute 80 proff.I took a funnel and funneled 1 cup brown sugar& stuffed some leaves off hysopp in each bottle.I shook them up a few times a day for about a week.Then I divided into a smaller bottle after adding the cream and shakeing real well.I got this instant coffee sample in mail(2 TBS)*vanillia nut it went in one bottle the other I added 1/4 cup herseys syrup.To keep my bottles shook in fridge with the cream?they keept wanting to seperate,but I keept shakeing...then sis said lay bottle on side.I only did 3 liters with cream& they were gone after 6 weeks.....so their good for 6 weeks! laugh muggs
I do have about half a bottle of vodka/anise/sugar& is maybe 6-7 months now.its still good(I dug out my "box" of mixers its mostly just stuff for tom collins& some manhattan thing& was a half bottle of triple sec)
oh and dried leaves would taste stronger.I used fresh.I'm gonna do my beurgamont plant next <img border="0" alt="[perplexed]" title="" src="graemlins/confused.gif" />
