some camillias bloom at different times.Mine is budding up now and it blooms late Nov,Dec till about March,april.Mines grown inground& my winter is my rainy season.I keep manure around
plant with pineneedles to help preserve moisture& fertilize with acidifier fertilizer
spring& fall.My top of
tree gets sun,but the lower parts don't.
I don't know much about your climate,but that it produces the waves for our hurricanes& I know ya have summers like TX.I have a garden friend in africa.If you tell me your
zone I may know more.Have you checked your underside of leaves for mites?they would be small.they are usually grown in the south in the states& humidity is usually more in south,tn northern areas.but if was humidty you could places a drain pot lined with stones/gravel with water for humidty.
