OP phoenix Member Joined: Mar 2005 Pawtucket R.I.	WHY,WHY,WHY AND WHAT IS IT???? These dreadful markings are all over my ferns. What should I do??? Please help!!! I don't want to lose these plants. All help is greatly appeciated

Anonymous Unregistered A	I think Dianna is correct. Irregular watering is the most common cause for that kind of damage. Ferns do not tolerate dryness at all. Even a single watering lapse can cause this. These symptoms also show up on older leaves that are ready to be replaced. So if this is just a single older leaf, then don't worry.
