In the LA Times today there is an article about the best smelling
roses. Apparently they are starting to bring fragrance back to
roses commerically grown. That pretty
rose smell was kind of designed out when breeders wanted deeper colors and disease resistant
flowers, but now they're encouraging it again! Here's the list from the American
