Tam, you must be in east/middle texas. El Paso has mountains, although not like that.

Bill, can you see those from where you live? or are they near you? Just gorgeous. My exchange student says they remind him of home.

Really pretty mountains Bill....I'm surrounded by them here....when I went to michigan where it was mostly flat I missed them so much....never thought I'd say I'd miss mountains....It's nice to look out and have some scenic views and not just flat land!!! smile

Those mountains are hidden from my view here by my mountain. I drove about 15 miles to get those shots. The Stevens Pass ski resort is about 35 miles up the highway. (no, I don't ski anymore....) frown
