Hi! Does anyone have Landscaping software?

Do you like it? WHY? Do you hate it? WHY?

Would you recommend it to anyone?

I have a landscaping program, but I'm not all that crazy about it....yet. I keep thinking it could be made simpler to use and more realistic. Of course, it wasn't expensive so perhaps that's the difference?

Any thoughts?

Hey Barb and Barb H!!!
I know we've had this question asked before,
I don't think there were too many answering then..
I think maybe Njoynit answered it, but I'm looking for one too, that has the latin wording (outloud/spoken/pronounced)
I hope someone comes along or finds one too!

LOL, maybe just a pencil and paper and some flower catalogs? That's what I was doing yesterday!

I've got one where you can put in a digital photo and then landscape it....I should really get it out and try it...maybe I will like it better than I thought. Oh, well....that will be a fun Saturday of armchair gardening!

Horticopia has the latin name pronounced for you.

I don`t have it but a friend let me borrow hers for a bit, it is wonderful.

I forgot to add. It has a simple landscaping program, but I was not impressed with it.

I like to do it the old fashioned way!

Rue,

I've got something called 3D Custom Land Designer from Sierra Home. I bought it for less than $20.

There seem to be so many on the market of varying prices and it's hard to know which is really the best deal.

I will be checking into the program you mention.

What I don't like about the stuff I've got is that it's on five different discs. I would rather have just one disc so I could easily switch what I wanted to do without a lot of fuss. I basically just like to point and click!
