Will Sevin dust burn the leaves on beans. Something was consuming the leaves on my beans so I decided to attack it with Sevin dust. I noticed some days later that large portions of some leaves were brown and brittle, as though scorched. I also noticed some leaves cupping upward. I appreciate any advice

Yes, Sevin dust will work; BUT, the organic solution would be: Neem oil, or Pyrethrum, or better yet,(if your patch isn't large) Hand Pick. The browning and brittleness though, sounds like rust, Never handle your beans when the leaves are wet. wavey
