Hello,

I am growing somer tomatoes and peppers on my back porch. I have them in pots with Miracle Gro. Will I be hurting the plants if I also feed them Miracle Gro water soluble vegetable fertilizer as the packaging recommends, or would the Miracle Gro by itself be enough for the plants?

Thanks,

Big Jim

Hey BigJim,
Kinda depends on the plant size, if they are about to flower, then I would fertilize, but with a fert. labeled with a higher P, NPK, the P being phospherous and promoting flowers, too much nitrogen N, will cause abundant growth, but a late fruit set, Oh and WELCOME to the Garden Helper
