OP lxygurl Member Joined: Aug 2003 New Jersey	I just bought a snake plant. I wanted to try to make a smaller plant. Is it hard to make babies from this plant. From what they told me at the store, it is very hard and they have never had any luck. I'm not really sure where to begin with this one. Help please!!!

Anonymous Unregistered A	You can cut off a healthy leaf and cut it into several 2 to 3 inch sections. Insert them into a pot filled with a damp mix of 2 parts peat moss, 1 part perlite. Keep it warm (above 70 degrees) and in indirect light. Try to keep the soil barely moist, not wet and not dry. When new leaves appear, you an move each section into its own small pot.
