Howdy gang. How's tricks? I just found you while desperately searching for more inexpensive solar fountain pumps.
I am a gardner in
zone 7 that has pretty much converted totally to native perennials (being as they are the only things that seem to survive our year-long droughts). I started this venture 3 years ago and you should see these now. WOWZIE.
Anyway, this year my sister got me a book on bird and hummingbird gardening. I already had quite a few of them, but have been having a wonderful time finding homes for some new
plants. So, if anyone wants to quiz me, go ahead, I won't mind. (except I don't know the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow).
Question, the other day, someone gave me a new version to this rhyme about the first 3 years of perennial life, and I've forgotten them. Can you help.
"first they ??, then they grow, then they show"
and
"first they sleep, then they creep, then they ??
