My new Meyer's Lemon tree, I've discovered in covered in citricola scales. Any ideas on how to get rid of them, what the best pesticide would be? And there are one or two stems that are absolutely covered in them, should I just cut those ones off? They're dropping their leaves, and the stems look brown because of the bugs, although they should be green..

Hi Glam70s
I just wanted to attach the responses you received in Houseplants here in plant Pests since there are others like myself who grow these lemons outside in the ground.

I would spray with a 1% horticultural oil solution and if the tree can spare those very badly infested branches I would trim them off..
