Hiya :-)

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Sue, and I live in North Carolina, between Charlotte and Hickory. I'm originally from England but have been living in various parts of the US since 1992.

I'm relatively new to gardening on a reasonable scale, having moved to my current location in 2004 where we have 7 acres of land. I have a vegetable garden for the second year going full tilt right now and last year was a sharp learning curve. This year has been generally improved but I'm still in the learning stages.
The reason I came here was whilst doing a search for information on a bulb called exotica (which came free with an online plant order earlier today), I discovered a thread here with other people asking the exact same question!, and having looked around felt this would be a fantastic place to join and learn more about plants and flowers, with which I am rapidly becoming quite obsessed hehe.

wavey Welcome Aboard!

You'll love it here. I have asked every question under the sun and each time I've gotten wonderful answers that have cured my problems! It truly is a fun place to be and everyone is so friendly! (I'm addicted too!) I wish you all the luck with gardening and I hope to chat with you again soon!

Happy Gardening! flw

Sincerely,
Shanbear

Thanks everyone :-)

@princessazlea, I grew up in Reading, then my family moved up north near Newcastle for a couple of years, then back down to Cambridge which was where I met my hubby who was stationed there with the USAF
