Beautiful pictures. Just wondering if you climbed up the tree to get the shot of the birds with their hungry mouths open? Looked like you were right beside the nest for the shot...

Now I know what a yard monkey is. laugh

Thanks everyone, for you wonderful comments. And Weezie, thank you for ID'ing the wildflower. I must confess that one isn't in my backyard. The pic was taken at Bushkill Falls in PA, but I just loved it!

Meg, I love all the little critters in my yard too.

Dianna, believe it or not, that nest was in my big Sago Palm tree. The next day, all the little babies were gone! I was so sad because some predator got them, they were too young to fledge yet.

Ah, you've been to my old stompin grounds. We used to live right close to Bushkill Falls, and took my daughter there for her birthday when she was 5. She wanted to see waterfalls so badly.

The rose with the pink tips, that is one of my Granny's roses.. took the picture when we went out for a reunion. I was awestruck by her roses.. so beautiful!

What a stunning garden - I love that your photos are a mix of flora and fauna. Do you have separate wildlife sections, with veg sections as well in your garden?

PS Image 134 is a canadian goose (or at least thats we call it over here! ! )

Hi Weezie, sorry, I'm probably being confusing - it was your picture labeled mama duck that I was trying to be helpful in identifying as a canadian goose. shocked
