Crooked tree

Stands alone, within time
Away it's grown
From others closeness
Bare from touch
Winds of decay desecrate my trunk
Peeling layers, limbs tumble to the ground
Shedding naked truths
Exposing severed roots, hindering growth
Drenched in winters dim
Inviting seasons change
To uncover coats of cryptic haze
Pour the gold upon my skin
In return you will see
Florescent leaves that tempt thee eye
Shadows of intrigue will dazzle your view
Of a once dying tree
That now grows
Within you.
