perdido key is one of the barrier islands along the gulf coast of florida. it is part of what is commonly called the "redneck riviera"

only other sand I have seen that white is at White Sand NM missal range.

notice the crane behind me. i love watching the sea birds no matter where i am

and i really love the fact that at parts of the island, you can see the water on both sides!

this is a place commonly called "Alabama Point" because it is the part of the island that in in alabama. the water in the forefront is the inlet for the intercoastal waterway and where Perdido Bay flows into the Gulf of Mexico.
